Larger bicycle sightseeing circuit.
From the parking lot under the Zvíkov Castle, you will follow the Otava cycling trail. Behind the bridge over the Otava river, turn right, and you will enjoy the beautiful views of the gorge of the Otava river and Zvíkov Castle.
In Varvažov you can see the local Baroque chateau from the outside, and the early Gothic church of St. Catherine.
The bike path leads up to Orlík nad Vltavou, and the Orlík Castle is definitely worth a visit. There is also a Schwarzenberg tomb in the park next to the castle, and you can get there by bike. On the rocks below the tomb, the views of the Orlík reservoir are plenty.
The return route goes across the 540 m long and 50 m high Žďákovský Bridge, one of the architectural landmarks of the entire middle section of the Vltava River.
You can stop in Kostelec nad Vltavou at the Church of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary.
Finally, you can try bungee jumping on Zvíkov Bridge, or just observe other daredevils.
