A magnificent romantic ruin on a high rock with breathtaking views of the Vltava River.
The ruins of Dívčí Kámen Castle are one of the largest and best preserved medieval monuments in the Czech Republic.
Thanks to the combination of rock formation, meandering watercourses and human intervention, there is a very diverse fauna and flora. Therefore, the area of the castle was declared a nature reserve, which is also part of the PLA Blanský les.
There are many legends linked to the castle. One of them is the hidden treasure guarded by the elves.
