Beautiful Baroque chateau in the middle of a well-kept English park with fountains.
There is a nature trail leading through the 117-hectare park "Červený Dvůr Castle Park", which will guide you through its history. The nature trail is about 3 km long.
A psychiatric hospital has been located in the chateau since 1966. Its establishment saved the chateau from the planned demolition. Today, the complex and, above all, the park is one of the most important cultural monuments in Bohemia thanks to the extraordinary garden architecture.
The settlement itself was founded in the 16th century by the Rosenbergs.
