Výstava 100 let českobudějovického národopisu

The exhibition will present the folk culture of the South Bohemian region, as it has long been understood by the Ethnographic Association at the South Bohemian Museum, which will celebrate its centenary in 2025.

This interest group focuses specifically on developing folk traditions in the regional capital, which is located on the border of two recognized ethnographic areas - Blat and Doudlebsko. Visitors to the exhibition can look forward not only to interesting handicrafts that were created by members of the association in the past, but also to a stylized peasant living room, South Bohemian costumes, folk art, foreman harnesses or other remarkable objects from the collection of the South Bohemian Museum.
