The Trio
The chamber ensemble The Trio, consisting of violinist Jiří Vodička, cellist Václav Petr, and pianist Martin Kasík, was founded in the spring of 2020. During its first year of operation, it recorded Josef Suk's Elegy , which was played by more than one hundred thousand people on the social networks of the international radio station Classic FM. The ensemble also created an audiovisual recording of Bohuslav Martinů's Bergerettes , with which it won first place in the International Vienna Music Competition and, thanks to this success, opened the 2021/2022 season with a concert at the Vienna Musikverein.
