During the walk, an experienced guide will lead you through the picturesque historic center and at several stops, short period scenes will be performed in front of you, performed by actors in costumes from the Marediv theater company. Each stop will be full of life, humor, surprises, and emotions.
This year you can look forward to meeting the young Master Jan Hus, who went to school in Prachatice, and his later friend Master Křišťan of Prachatice, a prominent physician and astronomer. The famous Prachatice native Jan Nepomuk Neumann, the first canonized American bishop, will also be present.
We also remember the city's less famous moments - for example, the undignified welcome of Emperor Rudolf II, which the local citizens did not quite manage according to court customs.
