Illustrations intended primarily for children's books were created especially in the second half of the 20th century - a time when work was done slowly, by hand, and with immense care. Almost 800 works by 33 illustrators from all over Europe, hundreds of children's books, dozens of exhibition catalogues. A European unique, a representative cross-section of techniques and the best work of the second half of the 20th century. Gró presents illustrations that are related to the activities of the Bohem Press publishing house. It was based on perfect craftsmanship of books, great illustrations and stories, and the opening of taboo topics (environmental protection, death, drugs).
