We have amazing lectures with moldavite experts, an author 's reading with Jiří Hájíček and a screening of the film The Thief of Green Horses is also prepared . The whole day is dominated by the ceremonial unveiling of the moldavite sculpture "On the Green Wave " and sixth publication of the same name with the authors. All this in the Vltava Sokolovna on Saturday, May 7, 2022 .
After years of working on the Austrian art scene, Robert Jelínek is returning home with this work, from where he emigrated with his family as a boy in 1980.
For the ceremonial unveiling of the world's first moldavite statue "On the Green Wave", which is the final phase of a complex project of the same name, he could not choose a more suitable place than Týn nad Vltavou, where the local museum houses the oldest moldavite exhibition in the world and from which comes the historically first recorded moldavite.
Everyone who is enchanted by this green stone and who will want to know more about this Czech phenomenon is invited to this day.
