Collection of Fine Art of the Second Half of the 20th and Early 21st Century at the Olomouc Museum of Art
The exhibition Permanent Manifestations, prepared for the premises of the Alš South Bohemian Gallery, presents a selection of the most important works from the collection of fine art of the second half of the 20th and early 21st century of the Olomouc Museum of Art. The exhibition was created in a friendly cooperation between the two institutions and offers a unique opportunity to look into the rich collection of the MUO in the form of a concentrated show that highlights key moments, personalities and tendencies of Czech art in the Central European context.
The installation, prepared with the specifics of the AJG exhibition space in mind, works with an economical but extremely effective selection. The result is a concentrated, visually compelling exhibition that allows viewers to understand the dynamics of post-war art in a broader Central European context.
The exhibition runs at the Castle Riding Hall in Hluboká nad Vltavou from 18 January to 10 May 2026
