Lookout tower on the highest peak of Protivín Mountains.
The highest point of the Protivín Mountains is on the top of Vysoký Kamýk at an altitude of 627 meters above sea level, and the observation tower itself is 48 m high. The observation tower is accessible only on certain days of the month, but the beautiful view is certainly worth a visit. From the viewing platform you can see distant Šumava, Budějovicko, Kleť, Novohradské mountains and the peaks of the Písek Mountains.
You can get to the tower from several places, either from Protivín, Albrechtice nad Vltavou, or Všetec.
