Prague Castle was founded in the 9th century by the Přemyslid dynasty and is the largest castle complex in the world, which is also listed in the Guinness Book of Records and also as a UNESCO monument.
The complex covers an area of ​​70,000 m2. This gem is very popular with foreign tourists.

Guided tours of architectural jewels

The castle will offer you a set of historical buildings built in different architectural periods, which you can visit and see. Popular objects include the Old Royal Palace, or Basilica of St. George and Golden Lane with Daliborka Tower. Guided tours in several languages ​​are also available. You can choose from three guided tours and other individual expositions.

Every day, exactly at 12:00, castle guard soldiers are changing in the first courtyard along with fanfare and standard exchange.

Exhibitions and events

There are also several beautiful gardens throughout the castle area, which are also open to the public. During the year, concerts and theater performances are held here. In the Lumbe Garden there is a riding school building, which was converted into an exhibition hall. Works of outstanding artists are exhibited here.
