There are so many permanent and temporary exhibitions in the museum that everyone will find at least one to enjoy.

A special program is prepared for children and students in the museum. For children there are regular accompanying events designed for them, even a birthday party can be organized. For schoolchildren, the museum has prepared interesting educational programs for ongoing exhibitions.

Founding of the museum
The museum, or collections of all valuables, was built gradually. These were gifts of large private collections, mainly natural sciences, which were owned by aristocrats living in Bohemia. But it wasn't until 1818 that a group of enlightened nobles headed by Count Kašpar M. Sternberg signed a proclamation of the foundation of the museum.
