Impressive performance with many years of tradition.
The Passion Theater in Hořice is 200 years old and is one of the oldest in Europe.
The theme of the theatrical performance is the last days of Jesus Christ, which ends with his resurrection. The uniqueness of the Passion Theater lies not only in the famed music of Jaroslav Krček, but also in a large number of actors - usually around 80, consisting mainly of amateur actors from Hořice and its surroundings.
