Nosálov Conservation Area

Compound of specific wooden cottages.

Preserved wooden cottages from the 18th and 19th centuries can be found in Kokořínsko in the original hop area. The conservation area includes a set of cottages and a Chapel of St. Trinity from the early 19th century. The whole compound is interesting for its specific architectural elements such as the galleries, which connect the rooms, and the sun on the gable wall (the Slavic symbol of architecture), features associated with the cultivation of hops, and walls of sandstone blocks.

You can only admire the chalets from the outside. This village conservation area is not an open-air museum and is commonly used for living.
