Mělník Regional Museum

In the historical interior, there is a permanent exhibition of the museum, whose main theme is regional history, nature and viticulture.

The Mělník Regional Museum, housed in a former Capuchin monastery in the historic town center (from the second half of the 14th century), offers interesting expositions of regional history, nature and viticulture, which can also be seen in medieval original cellars.

Visitors can admire the exposition of historical strollers with exhibits from the second half of the 19th century to the end of the 1980s. The museum offers a tasting of fine Czech wines in the café, while the groups can taste wines in the cellar after prior arrangement.

During the year, it organizes many interesting exhibitions and events for children and adults with interactive elements. Children will enjoy trains, Merkur construction kits and a collection of old toys. The Mělník Museum is definitely not a place where you might be bored!

At the box office you will get not only tickets for exhibitions, but also information about the city or its surroundings, promotional materials, you can buy souvenirs, maps, publications or wine.
