Beekeeping exposition in Pištín

Minor exposition of beekeeping traditions.

Beekeeping Exhibition - "Beekeeping Tradition Room" in the attic of the Community House No. 56 in Pištín shows the history of beekeeping and a number of exhibits used in households and farms in the South Bohemian countryside. Some exhibits date back to 1900.

Several new exhibits are added every year, most of which are donated. If you also find some historical beekeeping piece at home, you can donate it to the museum.

The exhibition is open during cultural and social events. Otherwise a visit must be arranged at the municipal office in Pištín.

The building houses the headquarters of the Destination Company Jihočeský venkov Association.
