A short walk suitable for smaller children.
The walk starts in Kamýk nad Vltavou. The climb will lead you to a relaxing area with a medieval playground, sheepfold, labyrinth and other attractions for children. You can also look at the 11 m high lookout tower Vrškamýk, where you can see the view of Kamýk nad Vltavou and its surroundings.
Just 300 meters away you will find the ruins of Vrškamýk Castle where you can see the remains of the original castle buildings, ditches and ramparts. The castle was founded in the first half of the 13th century. The hiking trail leads around the ruins, where you can see pictures of what it looked like in the past decades, and pictures of what the castle looked like hundreds of years ago.
