From 10:00 to 18:00, a varied program awaits you at Náměstí Míru for both young and old. The JH Swing Band, led by bandleader Karel Pixa, will play to keep you in a good mood, and entertainment will also be provided by theatrical skits from the Festivities of Zemojablíček – a celebration of potatoes in Jindřichův Hradec by Martin Musil with storyteller Věra Kubátová on the history of potatoes in Jindřichův Hradec. Various competitions are prepared – for example, in eating potato dumplings or in the fastest potato scratching – and there will also be a children's corner, where they will create not only from potatoes. All potatoes for the competition teams and competitions on the stage will be provided by the event partner ZD Rodvínov . A great attraction will be a cooking show with the popular South Bohemian chef Petr Šíma . Five competition teams will start cooking potato specialties. The festivities will also include exhibition panels prepared in collaboration with Štěpánka Běhalová from the Jindřichův Hradec Museum . Two guided tours will be held in the monastery church of St. Catherine, led by parish vicar Miroslav Štrunec , at 10:30 and 11:30.
