Mighty Sounds takes place every year in July at the airport in Tábor. The specialty of the festival is the fact that every year it mainly presents foreign names, which make up over 80% of the line-up and are complemented by the best of the genre scene in the Czech Republic - in short, nothing that resembles the so-called Czech festival classics.

The festival is also environmentally friendly and reduces its ecological footprint by using recyclable tableware made from palm leaves and returnable plastic cups.
