Běh Českou Kanadou- 9. ročník - charitativní akce

This time for sixteen-year-old Radek Buček from Slavonice! Radek was born with a rare genetic defect - it is an incurable disease called Angelman syndrome or lucky child syndrome. A child with this disease requires special care, which is demanding and exhausting. Radek is fully wheelchair-bound, does not walk, does not speak, suffers from epilepsy, has behavioral problems and is monitored by many specialized doctors. He is completely dependent on the round-the-clock care provided by his mother.
After a major and demanding hip surgery, Radka will face a long-term recovery and intensive rehabilitation. The family would use the money raised to pay for physiotherapy and necessary procedures that will be recommended for them after the surgery.
