Breathtaking scenery at the highest Šumava mountain.
Plechý is the highest mountain in Šumava (1378 m). Tourists can visit the red marked trail from the Nové Údolí. Plešné Lake is a glacial lake, a sea of boulders and a 211 meter high rock wall, one of the most important geomorphological formations, creating an interesting natural scenery. A monument to the famous Šumava writer Adalbert Stifter rises above the lake.
