Egon Schiele Art Center

Museum on the life of Egon Schiele and exhibitions of 20th century art

The museum was founded at the turn of 1992/93 on the initiative of three people after the fall of the Iron Curtain and the vision of creating an international cultural center.

The museum documents the life of artist Egon Schiele along with his works. In the next part of the museum, there are exhibitions of classical and modern 20th-century art that change twice a year.

The extensive museum also offers studios to young or studying artists from both Western and Eastern Europe, and also to writers.

The entire complex is complemented by a shop and café with artistic specialties.
